Applications are accepted continuously for Deputy Sheriff and Dispatcher positions and will be maintained for twelve months. Testing will be done throughout the year and applicants will be notified of testing. Please ensure your contact information is accurate on the application with the Nye County Sheriff's Office so you do not miss the notification from our agency for testing.
A clear photocopy of the application is acceptable or a clear scanned copy may be e-mailed to email@example.com or faxed to 775-751-6309. Please be advised that Nye County Human Resources nor the Nye County Sheriff's Office will make photocopies for applicants.
Resumes are not accepted in lieu of applications. However, applicants may attach a resume to their completed application.
Applications and ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION must be received by our office. Please be advised that no exceptions will be made. After such time as you are advised the background packet will be sent to you and must be completed and submitted to your background investigator.
